The year is rapidly winding down and we’ve been reflecting on our first year in business. First and foremost, we are so very grateful to all of you who have invited us into your homes to fix your appliances. We know there are a lot of appliance repair companies in our area, and we are thankful for your trust in us. We’ve also been analyzing our business practices and looking at those pesky cost/profit margins. Unfortunately, we’ve found a major loss for us in the area of our service call fee. At only $30, we’re one of the lowest in the area, which is what we strive for in our pricing. However, we’ve also found that in those instances where we do have only the service fee and not a repair charge, we’re losing money, which in turn causes costs to rise. To combat that, our service fee will go up to $47.50 after the first of the year. If you have an appliance currently under warranty with us, that service fee will not go up for you until your warranty expires. We will continue to honor the price you were already given.
